the math on what? use maxroll to calculate dps of the builds (like I have) where u can see u clearly do more dmg with my build. it's nice you know that "math, logic, reason (redundant to logic)" exist, but you don't actually use it

You have significantly more –resistance on a 105 build, and –res is far more important than the raw damage number shown on the stats screen. This is all pretty basic stuff.

every time you post your garbage 200 fcr build and someone posts the actual damage numbers showing why it's bad you just move on to the next topic

no point in proving you wrong for the 50th time when you still chose to play like a regarded person

you are literally saying garbage. you realize that maxroll calculates the effect of -res on their calculations, right? i am in no way implying just the damage shown on the stats screen is higher, but the fact that you cast your damage 1 frame faster, and the fact that the innate immunity of most mobs like in chaos are not lightning immune to start. the math actually isn't that basic, as you put it. It completely depends on the LR of the monster ur trying to kill. If they are typical mobs in chaos, like the Abyss Knights or the Lords, they die way faster. The only monsters with good immunity is on the left seal, those the self weild on average is like maybe 5% more.

21's trying to theory craft new meta builds on a 26 year old game. It's always cute

So, please, do post dps numbers after setting enemy in maxroll to: Venom Lord and Storm Caster, in chaos. For both builds.

So game play isint the issue. And my clear speed isint the issue. I was just curious why my damage was so low when some videos show damn near same gear with higher dps otput

looking at the character screen to determine your "DPS" is where you are failing.

THere is much more going on than the damage number on your character screen that effects your damage output.

its why the character screen is called the LCS, lying character screen, to people who know what they are doing.

until just now below:

Looking at maxroll is yet again another bad place to get your damage output. It is another place that is littered with incorrect information and calculations.

gonna do some quick napkin math

fire immune venom lord with amp damage, sigil (-37) fire sunder, conviction (-90) and gear (-55%) getting hit by a blood boil that deals 4.8k phys / 8.1k fire
>50 -> -87% dr
>130 -> 22% fr
->15.3k hp lost per cast

gee that's a 50% dr fire immune vs a fire build and its taking more than twice as much per hit as midget sorcs casting nova
