At 4215 MF your unique Effective MF goes to 236%.
So yeah. Diminishing returns.



To me if it is Dev intended it is legit. Don't need to look at my MF count to know it was intentional by the devs.

Ok but still not answering the question. We don’t know if they patched it but left the ritual ? How can we verify other than people claiming “omg drops so good”

Now my experience might have biased me but 3 uniques on 4 items, after the ritual, either this is the game tricking my mind into believing it is real or... it is real.

Yeah I know they covered it a while ago. There’s got to be a way to verify mf without the onscreen metric. if true though what is the point of mf gear? Basically mf becomes worthless for the hottest new mf route ( shard/tz farming and Harold’s ) why even roll mf on the renewed and new unique jewels??

Because after 4215 MF giving 236 eMF on uniques, 4558 is the next BP reaching 237 eMF.

No seriously, I doubt D2r devs even know about this easter egg.
They dont even play the game.
Do you expect them to know about such a thing ?

Some people just want hard points into MF and not have to bother with some (stupid?) Souls ritual.

by running a sample of meph runs with the ritual active vs without and tracking unique/set drop ratios against effective mf calculations? do you really need someone to hold your hand through it?

The whole point of the topic is that for a single kill this mechanic is stupid,
But gets useful when we talk full game clears.

ofc it isn’t useful for boss farming but he was asking how to “prove” it actually works because he’s doubting the ritual adds mf
