I know the ED from the protector stone is useless in that case.

I mean the flat 10-30 dmg from the protector stone + another two jewels with 15 max dmg. Will overall flat dmg becomes 10 - (30 + 15 + 15) = 10 to 60. ED will be useless at all as the Protector stone ahs both min/max dmg

pretty sure its a %ED bug that effects min/max jewels, so if there is no %ED involved i believe you're good

Does that means that the ed on the Protector stone is completely useless when put on a helm or armor or shield? I mean even if no other jewels used?

Protector stone got 10-30 flat dmg - that works always
30-50 ed - that is the question, is it useless on a weapon???

on items with ed already it should work. ed circlets, one of the warlock books has it too?
