I am writing to request assistance in: (a) disputing my mental‑health diagnosis under the BC Mental Health Act, and (b) locating a missing online friend, William, who might be able to testify on my behalf.
I am certified under the BC Mental Health Act with a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, which I believe is inaccurate and stems from sustained persecution.
This letter is of a testimonial nature. That said, I affirm, sincerely and to the best of my knowledge, that the following account is all true. Below is a concise timeline of events followed by a detailed account. It will be in a chronological order from the oldest to the most recent.
1. In around 2002: On a particular forum that is now defunct, I said things which attracted unwanted attention to me from the online community.
2. In 2006, I obtained employed with an American multinational internet corporation that had an office in North Burnaby, British Columbia, BC. In the training sessions, I sat next to a coworker, who I believe hacked into my computer. He hinted that he had accessed my computer without my consent. This led me to have my first breakdown and encounter with the mental health establishment. Then I left the company.
3. In 2008, I came across another online forum called totse.com, now defunct. There on the forum, I connected with a poster by the user-name of P*. We chatted for a while and I eventually developed feelings for him. Eventually, I flew to his city to see him. We met a few times.
4. In 2009, I said things on totse again.
5. In the same year, but some time later: Events took place on totse that drove me to a vulnerable emotional state. Then I came to the realization that P* knew about a shameful secret that I had (details available upon request). Then, as I went out, inexplicable events took place. These drove me to a breakdown.
6. In September 2009, I was brought back to British Columbia. Once I was back in BC, more things happened, which caused me to be certified under the BC's Mental Health Act.
7. In 2015, I was decertified.
8. In around 2018, I came upon Gab. On this site, I started to say yet more things.
9. Around roughly the same time, although I can no longer recall precisely, I also discovered the site called Incel Wiki. I suspect the friend I refer to as William may have authored and/or administered the Incel Wiki site.
10. The following occurred over a period of time spanning unknown years: On said site, I detected articles that were written in oblique reference to me. I surmised that there was an individual behind them who knew me intimately. With more and more time spent on said site, I started to develop feelings for the author. And my understanding was that he had feelings for me as well. Then I let him know, in an oblique manner, that I liked him too.
11. On August 9th, 2025: Things culminated in the author going to this yet another forum I went to. We eventually connected. I learned that his first name was William, and that he was on a government watch-list.
12. On August 19th, 2025, around 5 PM, Pacific Time: Almost immediately after William told me his name, he disappeared from communications. Then, he re-appeared about 12 hours later, and there was an abrupt change in his communication style. Based on the abrupt change in his communication style, I suspect William may have been detained by state intelligence and that his email account was compromised.
13. On August 25th, 2025: This period was emotional for me. Finally, I communicated a detailed account of what I knew was done to me for the past 20 years.
14. During the same time and period: In the account, I referenced my shameful secret without flinching. It must have become apparent I was willing to do anything to rescue William.
15. On August 27th, 2025: More things happened to me, which caused me to be taken to Surrey Memorial hospital, where I was certified again.
16. After August 27th, 2025: A few more events took place, including more hospitalizations.
The foregoing account reflects my personal recollection and interpretation of events. I am prepared to provide any documentary evidence I might have to authorized parties to substantiate these claims and to answer interested parties' questions. Should we establish a trusted relationship, I can share additional details and am available for interview.
I hope that by getting my story out, I can garner support from the community, and pressure the responsible party into giving some kind of public response. I do not have the identity of the entity who I believe is persecuting me, although I have my hypothesis.
The next goal is to find and rescue my missing online friend William. I know little about him, but I do still know a few details about him. Again, I will share these details with someone once a trusted relationship has been established.
