I have seen 1 single druid since ladder and druid skillers are going for less than mid runes. Anyone out there still playing druid? Seems like the Warlock has better summons, better fire spells, echoing strike/eldritch is better than fury, and blood oath makes you tankier than werebear.

Is there any reason to play druid now other than "I like druid"?

Druid still has a place in hardcore, but in softcore.... Warlock has made it and necro/barb/paladin/assassin basically obsolete.

I dont see the point playing druid or in fact any other class for the 500 times when they introduce a new char after 25 years. even if you fancy a certain char you still get sick of playing the same shit, its time to play new shit.

Since there is little demand for some classes and pvp isn't converting yet might be a good time to buy some good stuff while it's under valued

My crap, cheap gear with warlock does around 50k echoing strike (no enigma, no torch, no skillers, just lore helm, random spirit shield, and insight weapon, etc. ). Warlock has free infinity from Hephasto. Has better summons than necro. It has a psuedo tele.

Druid, with min-maxed gear, does like 5k tornados (Inventory all filled with skillers). Struggles in P3+.

I really don't see why I should play the druid.

TLDR: To answer your question: No.

Meh, just don't worry about being a meta/flavor of the month goon and youll be fine. All the mosaic players just switched to lock. Each class is still as capable as they ever were. Do some need buffs? 100%, but just play what you like.

After I saw the changes to mosaic - nonladder use only - was hoping they would start to make the game more difficult and require a team of different builds to clear the game..... like an rpg is supposed to be.

Wrong. Reign of the Warlock says it all.... other classes feel like garbage by comparison. Before this patch not many people were playing mosaic, since being that strong gets boring quick. Now the floodgates are open and you see Echo locks in every game.

that's what i'm thinking too. i started with frost sorc this season. her gear is pretty solid but i don't have a sunder charm (impossible to find now if you aren't a warlock who can clear entire terrorized acts). feeling like a clown when i watch echoing strike locks full clear entire acts with barely any gear. so i can't imagine how the druid would feel lol.
