Unfortunately for me i had to make a new JSP account when I came back to the game during the launch of D2R after a very long break as I had closed some old email accounts and couldn't access my OG.

One thing I have noticed with the newer players since the launch of D2R is the amount of people in trade who post needing something and then immediately go offline for hours, or even days at a time and are upset when they come back that you sold your stuff to someone else instead of waiting on them.

What's something you have noticed?

Nothing really changed

People are people
d2jsp is d2jsp
And D2 is D2 after all

I guess also trading involves RNG ;-)

I doubt the veracity of the OG claim if you think this is somehow a new thing.

I guess I cant speak for mid 2015 - late 2021, but from early 2003 - mid 2015 it was certainly not the issue it is today.

It would be fun to go back for a little bit to the land of infinite and worthless soj's and occy rings though.

Early 2003?
When it was a bot site and trading was almost non existent?

almost non existent is obviously not non existent, later in 2003 is when the trade really picked up and changed. Yes, it really wasn't an issue like it is now back then. If people wanted to trade they generally made a point to take the time to trade, they didn't make a public wish list before going on vacation.

If you read what I originally said again, a little slower, you just might notice that no where in there did I say it never happened at all.

From what you continue to type I’m doubting your OG claim even more now.

That's the joys of the human condition, you have the free will to believe what you like.

Well it’s backed up by you demonstrably presenting things that run contrary to your claim.

Such as

Legacy had realms where items could not cross realm.
East was east, EU was EU.

Yet your initial statement seems to not understand this major difference.
Add to that you didn’t seem to know what jsp was in 2003.. and then followed up with your “2004” was when jsp really got active for trades…

Like I said all that makes it seem that your OG claim is rather dubious.
