The guy picking up every rune will hit 99 Zod orders of magnitude faster than the guy picking up Zod only
If you can accept that someone with more sources to pool from will always out pace the guy with less - given all other conditions identical, then you've come closer to realizing the potential behind what is effectively a rune manufactory in your stash.
I think the point is if you could admit that picking up El runes for cubing is a waste of your time, you would have to reexamine your entire set of assumptions.
