Yea maybe we can win with a charger but even then they have the demonic shit which is basically an energy shield on top of what they already have

It’s insanely overtuned

Besides that they have like 5k life with obsession phoenix setup and really high dr, they also have that 43% reduced damage from the demon skill

There’s no winning vs a lock who knows how to build

One thing to consider is that the massive damage of echoing strike is only possible when they bind a demon like hephasto. Thats a lot of prep work if they ever die. Its the same reason summon necros arent popular for PvP, the prep time needed after they die is just too much to make them worthwhile.

No man, I have a lock with 37x 20 life small charm in inventory and I kill anyone in 1-2 cast, even a stormshield maxblock barb

I have a shitty death decap, hl, gore, Eni and Phoenix

Levitation mastery and Phoenix and some strength is enough to give you dmg to oneshot anything

Just convert, everyone in d2pvp converted.

This game has been balanced by rules we make up since the beginning, that will never change

We will make rules for the warlock and the new charms and magic gear.

The only duels that will be effected will be pubs.
It will be no different than when we had farcast zons and stacking auradins.

Just the new noob pub duelers get to experience what we went through many patches ago.

That sucks for folks that prefer pub games. I dont have time to find private GM duel games and arrange a time to meet up, ive got like 30 min a night (if at all) after the kids go to bed, I just want to jump into a random duel game, stomp some newbs and bounce.

comparing to a abyss warlock there's really no way to counter one

the most similar in the past would be a mosaic sin w a baal party. The issue is warlock doesn't need a Baal party to be op. One thing you can do is to fight them with your own abyss warlock then the game turns into a warlock fest as usual

Good info. Ive been trying to find some dueling videos on youtube to see what its like but with no luck.

Im thinking I might buy the expansion, rush a Warlock, and throw some cheap-o gear on him to 1) learn about them 2) see how OP they are in duels
