The idea seems to be:
* You have 99 of each rune before zod, and 0 zod
* You pick up an El
* You now cube El, to the next one -> To the next one -> and so on, up to Zod

Basically getting a "free" zod just using an El.

Fair, that's possible.

However the big flaw is:
For this one Zod, you not only lost an El, you lost one of each (2 up to lem) single rune up to Zod, leaving you at 1 Zod and 98 (97 up to lem) of every other rune.

You paid jah+ber+sur+ohm+Lo+..+El for a single Zod.

Math and exponential growth don’t seem to be OP’s strong side

Let me tackle this from another angle.

Ist is currently sitting at 180fg. Gul is sitting at 160fg.

Nobody in their right mind is converting 360fg of Ists into a 160 fg Gul

Um is 50fg, Mal is 90fg. So, again, nobody’s converting 100fg into 90fg.

Ral is 5fg and Ort is 5fg. Nobody’s converting 15fg into 5fg.

I guess OP’s argument might be that this time is different and these prices will change. I doubt it, but even if they did, we’re still back to the exponential growth problem.

Is it safe to eat glue if it says non-toxic?

The guy picking up every rune will hit 99 Zod orders of magnitude faster than the guy picking up Zod only

If you can accept that someone with more sources to pool from will always out pace the guy with less - given all other conditions identical, then you've come closer to realizing the potential behind what is effectively a rune manufactory in your stash.
