currently using insight on my echoing strikes build

it has 6 critical strike on it from what i have read that gives me a 46% chance for double damage

is it worth also having highlords on for 35 deadly strike and gores for another 15%? i know the two do not stack so it would be to separate chances to double damage i think?


Using insight is it better to get rid of the deadly strike and use other options?

A point in levitation mastery and some all skills gear along with insight gives you 90%+ crit. Dont need highlords or gores as it will add like 1-2% dps.

You can get way more than 46% crit from insight.
It’s an oskill, buffed by +all skills.
So on a high end build you can push that to around 65% crit by itself.

Note that there are 3 crit sources and they all check individually one after the other to try to double your dmg, but you can’t double it more than once.

So say you have 65% crit from the crit oskill
30% from levitation master
35% DS

Then you have
0.65 + (0.35 * 0.3) =0.755
0.755 + (0.245 * 0.35) =0.841
84.1% crit chance after the 3 check

With insight, highlords is not worth it. CS from insight stacks with CS from the levitation mastery. You're better off with +skills on amu side.

Don’t forget that crit is an Oskill

It’s most likely higher

Enigma, anni, battle command, Highlord, arach, bk, spirit

They all raise it’s skill level so it’s more around 56-62% ish crit

That being said, different sources stack multiplicatively, not additively

So after that your Highlord maybe gives 10-15% only, levitation masyery also gives much less

So Levi is only 5-10% extra crit

But it’s enough tbh, Highlord is indeed kinda wasted on this one

From this calculation its a 9% chance increase crit but also missing the +1sk +fcr from a rare/craft amu
So I think not worth it since %fcr from amy might get you to the next breakpoint increasing a lot your dps

True but I’d still use Highlord cos the char oneshots everything anyway

Simple insight highlord setup and you mow everything down

No need to min/max this build
