yeah I think so allthough I've got some "you draw the herald" msgs without killing elites, just regular monsters. And the actual spawns are not after kills but rather just by moving, hence spawning more monsters

once you get tier 5 you have to invite two friends though guaranteed even if youre solo

1. Go to tz, keep killing champs and elite packs only.
2. Get a shard to terrorize a whole act.
3. Activate that shard and follow 1.
