Fortune 100 product manager here. I think microslop ruined our game.
If the d2 devs were smart they would delete the warlock demon, add a PvP arena or something like that, keep the stash features, delete the horrific PvP new items and add another act and make crafting easier.
What do yall think.
Well micro transactions and greed has been destroying games for 5-6 years now…
In warzone 1 when vanguard integrated, my snipers instantly stopped one tapping. I thought they had nerfed them. But i found out that there was no sniper nerfs, they had nerf my damage. Aim assist was also gone in 50% of fights, i died easier and enemies hit me easier as well. I tried some smg/ar and stuff which is dreadfully boring but noticed that every gunfight 4-6 bullets was doing no hitreg. Just enought to loose most fights.
So i went exploding crossbow instead, paired with a ballistic knife that one tapped head/neck. Crossbow one tapped anywhere in the body after explotion but it was benefitial for me to land head/neck shots because then they would be insta downed and finnished by explotion. However now they would not even get downed by head/neck/upper chest crossbow bolts after explotion.
I even tried to shot a munition box as the enemy was litterally standing on it, he survived it.
This was eomm, (engagement optimalised match making) algorithms. Such algorithms job is to manipulate you to keep playing, and since this thing made me ragequit it was welcomed back by open arms of this algorithm. Nerfs was gone, aim assist was good again and i went back to slay with my dual quickscope setup. But it came again and again… the fix was always to just ragequit for 2-3 weeks. I even noticed sideways curving bullets, none hitretting everything etc. i once sniped a guy in his head from 1m, then threw a throwing knife in his shoulder, then after yet another throwing knife he finally went down.
The reason it triggered so often and agressive on my was due to my one tap dual quickscope sniper playstyle, which leads to an abnormal low ttk and abnormal high headshot%.
Then came mw2022, already on day 2 of beta i had to start shoting enemies in the upper foot, because headshots refused to one tap… boring AF.
Once warzone mode came no snipers was designed to one tap head, but season 1 there came one in battlepass which did if expslosive ammo, ofc i bought that shit and 3 day laters they patched it to not one tap head.
I said fine and went super toxic with a 12m one tap shotgun, riot shield and a sniper in my backpack, with throwint knives and stuns, and 2 termites in backpack to own other riot shielders. I won loads of solos that way. But then it came back…
Now it was no longer «loss of aim assist», now it was forcing my aim way off target, felt like every enemy was magneto himself. My throwing knives went towards enemies, only to deflect off target and dissapear into the sky. My shotgun still did not down enemy after a 3rd close up chestshot was delivered. Dual snakeshot/shotguns etc was gunjammed when enemies came around corner, with a dramatic screen shake effect and uncontrollable floating aim to simulate lagspike in a otherwise lagfree game (im not playing on a greasy american mc donal server).
Enemies was immune to flash/stun etc.
Enemies felt immortal.
My flinch was 300%.
My entire screen was fully red from a single bullet hitting me, and every bullet carried like a flash effect. Try locating enemies when 90% of screen is filled with red blood, while ur experience a flashing effect and have 300% flinch.
The same happened to in mw2023, bo6, bo7. The functions change, bloom/bullet spread is always attempted to be implemented to mask it, but playerbase rage and luckely some of it is removed.
It was no longer just eomm. It was:
- Likability stat
- Purchase history
- Eomm
I had been creating many video clips exsposing theese systems, i had tell them to go end themselves on their facebook site(including words like acid / face / fire and how it needed to happen fast before they produce any offsprings. And this is probarly my comment nr 80000 adressing this.
Needless to say my likability in this algorithm is low… which shows ingame. And my purchase history is a big FU to their income. Eomm does not like my one tap playstyle either. So getting 10 examples of such things in a single game is easy.
Then on bo6 i did a test. I did not buy their shitty game, then played 160 games off warzone ressurgence, and then i went and requested personal info via gdpr rules. This info had lobby data back then, but since it exsposes then further they removed that now. It also shows a stat called «skill». People are gaslighted into believing that this is a number of how good they are. But its not. Its a value of how well you are allowed to perform. The difference value between your skill value and enemy skillvalue decides who gets the advantage there and then. Winning warzone games, decent kd’s, high kills does not lift skill value, it keeps decreasing due to longer time since purchase is made.
Here are the results:
- Skill value last match of mw2023 warzone: +273 (yes i bought some stuff i wanted to try).
- Skillvalue first match of bo6(zero purchase, not even game) : -58
- Average skill value 160 games of bo6: -151
- Average skill value 50 last games of bo6: -173 (shows degrading skillvalue due to longer time without purchase).
- Damage dropped 36% per server logged hit post bo6, compared to xx thousands of games pre bo6. (Shows how lack of purchase directly impact damage per hit).
Here are some other «funny» lobby data that confirms skillvalue decides your damage and your hitpoints(i cannot prove the other functions via stats) :
Enemies has 150 hitpoints + 50 hitpoints each plate. You start with 2 plates and can have 3 in vest (300 hitpoints).
Skill: -490, hits: 56, damage done: 7 (0,125 damage per hit).
Skill: -373, hits: 36, damage done: 2 (0,055 damage per hit).
Skill: -490, hits: 56, damage done: 7 (yes got 3 such)
Skill: -xxx, hits: 16, damage done: 0
Skill: -xxx, hits: 45, damage done : 45
Skill: -xxx, hits: 10, damage done: 100 (sniper)
On top of that they show stuff like this:
Damage taken: 98, deaths: 1 (67% hp nerf).
Probarly 100 like theese. Below 1 damage per hit. But its more normal that you deal like 50% less damage and enemy deal double damage vs you.
Like: 56 close up shots with wsp swarm smg to down a enemy at 3-4m range, then his teammate deletes me in 4 shots with the same gun.
Thats: around 1300% difference in ttk due to algorithms.
But what about other games:
Cs2:
I played csgo for years with deagle only. Another fun finesse one tap wepon. I self carried myself to legendary eagle master twice by solo queing with toxic people. I had to leave a bunch of games to tend to kids waking up, which is super punnishing to your rank. Still was topping the lobby in terms of kills, outsniping the awpers with my deagle, ending ak’s and m4 guys before they had time to react. 1v5 with 5 x clean one taps.
Then came cs2, my pc was to slow, so took me some years to try it out. I was rusty, but trained vs bots for rapid training with my deagle, then tdm to get my ping into the muscle memory. Then i went in and slayed with my deagle.
Landed 43kills and 10 deaths. Enemies had no chance. 97% headshot or smt like that.
Then boom, my deagle refused to one tap, it refused to land head even vs afk’ers. Next game went 5-20. enemies was is the excact same typical positions, they played more or less the same. My peaks was the same, my ping was good. My timing was the same. It just refused to land head for 3 games stright. Then it started to work again.
I noticed the same vs bots, i could almost spam 40 headshots in aim map, then followed by 40 kills where not a single headshot registered. And such it went. 40 clean, 40 messy, 40 clean, 40 messy.
I also noticed the worst player i have ever seen in cs to be our topfragger with the tactic to panic spray once fired upon. He was never on target, but enemies magically melted anyway. The enemies seemed unable to kill even thought they got the drop on him every single time. 1v1v1. He won them all with that tactic to panic spray once fired upon. In a game with almost instant ttk….
And what about battlefield?
Well just look at the eomm design paper, its signed by 8 @ea mails and 1 gmail in the bottom. No further evidence needed, but there are loads of ingame evidences where people drain their whole mag into enemies and get 0 hits. Statinary enemies…
What about epic games:
Well its micro transactions, they use ai bots ingame to push wins on people to get them hooked. Ofc its rigged.
What about blizzard?
Activision-blizzard. Bo further info needed, but you can look at d4 if you want. I heard you can win if you spend 1,5 million dollars…
