I think they do, considering how large the universe is thought to be. I would be more surprised if we found out they didnt exist at this point. Earth being the only planet to carry life would be pretty unlikely. If I had to guess most aliens just aren't as advanced as us to be able to seek us out and those that are more advanced than us probably have no interest.
