I’m pretty new to this game so I ask. what is the best sorc build (other then lightning infinity).

I don’t have great gear and just got to Hell. Currently set up for a frozen orb/ firewall build and it’s kinda meh.

FYI I am on console, I read frozen orb is better then blizzard for console but idk.

Honestly I had a lot of fun going enchant demon machine and frozen orb. I went with a sazabi a5 merc with lawbringer. Whole char costs about 50fg and gets you through players 5 or less anywhere.

Ive never tried console but im assuming its easier to aim orb

In this case, try full fireball/meteor sorc

But blizzard sorc is pretty gg with newb gear

So just get act 5 merc and put lawbringer in him? I’ll have to look for this build. I just want to game hell solo at some point

Sazabi set and lawbringer. 20 enchant 20 warmth 20 fire mastery. Then energy shield if you don’t need to split elements or orb as a one skill wonder just for immunes. Enchant bow sorc is a big time cheap boss killer and target farmer though. The orb is entirely optional and you can go energy shield instead if you want. With max warmth insight is optional I feel.

Been spamming sorc for 20 years. Demon machine sorc is goated. With a controller frozen orb might be the way though, idk. But piercing ape exploding arrows are great. There’s a bug or not a bug depending on how you view it. I don’t remember entirely how it works from not playing it for years but it goes something like getting the fire mastery twice when you self enchant. Max pierce and just watch arrows explode for 5 figure damage on every enemy they hit and just melt everything. And a frenzy merc with sazabi and lawbringer and enchant can probably clear p8 chaos alone. Honestly I’m not sure how tough this would be with the lack of sunders these days. I’ve just been playing this broken warlock

Sounds really fun! So just for clarification, I put the sazabi set on the merc, or myself? Is warlock hard to get going in hell mode? I started having trouble in NM around Diablo so I switched back to Sorc.. what build do you recommend for warlock?

Warlock is a free win right now. And yea the sazabi is for act 5 merc. Solves all his problems. The lawbringer is for crowd control and he gets to wield 2 swords. His AI has been updated more recently than the others and he always gets onto a target
