I don't have all of the gear or charms yet but i'm like -40 res on everything and i don't see how what i'm lacking adds up to +110 all res lol

That guide uses very best gear possible and is not very realistic as to what players will actually have gear wise

well first dump the fort tmaul and instead use an obsession archon staff, which is +4 skills / 65 fcr / 70 resists / 25 max life / 30 mf, which opens you up to have an even higher damage output build because you sacrifice less slots for FCR and the damage scales mostly with +skills. In that same setup you could use laying of hands and 2x BK rings instead of trangs gloves, soj & fcr ring, because with a 65% fcr staff all it takes is any 20-30% ars meph + 20% arach + 20% helm, the fcr roll on meph doesn't matter.

I can tell you,..I out-paced mosaic sin from chaos to baal with Obsession staff + 125% FCR with ~500% MF. Very balanced stats it provide.
This is from trying all weapons when one day i accidently used CTA for echoing strike instead and it still popped everything in sight P8.

Eth ariocs will give the most damage, on a char who already has wildly overkill amounts of damage.

An eth fort tmaul setup is getting ~480 base weapon damage added to echoing strikes and +20% DS (72% ds / 29% crit = 80.12%) and about 20-25% off-weapon %ed from strength on maul class
Swapping in obsession/bk/laying gets you ~102 base damage and +640 skill damage from +4 skills (52% ds / 30% crit = 66.4%) as well as +350% off-weapon %ed vs demons and another +56% offweapon %ed from the skill and mastery and consume. And then it also gets +4 bind demon / demonic mastery / hex siphon / psychic ward / etc
So the tmaul has 480 damage +20% ds and obsession has 742 and a gorillion upsides from all its +resists, +life, +fcr, +4 skills, +mf.

Then the linked build is also utterly nanners and poorly thought out because its not just low resists, but dumping points into strength on a char with overkill dps and only has 1 point blood oath, when 20 hard points in blood oath gives a 43% all damage taken reduction (including elemental)



also this but I got even faster than the echoing strike build by just being a member of the blood boil master race

oddly enough, he doesn't have obsession archon staff listed at all. is it a new discovery?
