The poorest 20% of Americans are richer on average than most European nations.

The bottom 5% of Americans are richer than over 60% of the world.

PLEASE tell me again what the fuck we're talking about here?

You're absolutely clueless and you've never left USA outside of an all inclusive resort in like Dr or Mexico (Lol) and it shows. You have no worldly experiences

I travel every month for work, sometimes domestic and sometimes international. All over the place. I've been in plenty of other countries besides just resort towns to understand. What I said is a fact. The worst of the U.S. is better than the vast majority of the world.

It's the people that dont travel that dont understand how good they have it here. 🤦‍♂️

Its not fact,

For ex let's use Greece cuz u said Europe

Someone in poverty in US (8% of population) earns 12k a year
Average house hold income in Greece is 11k euro per yesr
Poverty is 4k

Someone who lives in poverty in usa has more money than someone who lives an average life in Greece.

Purchasing power of your dollar is significantly different. Rent/food everything is cheaper. Your point makes no sense. Someone living in poverty is better off than someone who can afford a normal life in another country?

Also call bullshit on your international travels. Maybe for work yiu go yo Dallas or some shit. I highly doubt you've been to like Germany or Hungary or liek Thailand and spent few weeks on not a resort LOL

Poverty line for a single individual in the U.S. is not 12k. It's just shy of $16K ($15,960 to be exact). If you're going to use these in your argument at least be close. Also, Greece is 6500 not 4k for a single individual.

Income is higher in the U.S. plus career opportunities are FAR better than Greece and it's not even remotely close lmao.

Nice argument though. Everything I stated is factual. The poorest in the U.S. are better off than the vast majority of the world. Not everywhere of course, but a large % of the world. Period.

Not to mention the poorest in the U.S. get an absurd amount of aid from the government. Healthcare, food, housing, etc.

Im not arguing life isnt better in the usa or western society. My point is your argument bout being richer just means your better off over a generalized set of the world population is dumb and doesnt make sense. Obviously people want to move from their 3rd world countries where life is trash to develope nations because life is significantly better.

People in the Nederlands make significantly more on average than people in the US, in terms of average income and poverty line. Does that mean life is better there than USA?

Very subsidized healthcare
Great career opportunities and earning potential
Free education
Easy travel to rest of world
Government aide

I have more than 5x buying power abroad, 0 concern about my neighbors trying to rob me or carrying a gun, 0 concern about drug dealers in my community, same day healthcare access, and I can afford top tier private schools for my children. I can retire early, I can work part time, my homes property taxes and full insurance coverage combined is less than $300 annual

Not missing anything about the U.S. over there. That’s just me, I won’t miss being harassed by bums outside every Walgreens or having guys catch an attitude over the dumbest little stuff

People in the Netherlands do not make more on average salary wise than the U.S. where do you get this from? Purchasing power in the U.S. is higher because of higher salaries, lower taxes, and lower costs for goods like housing. Quality of life is very good in the Netherlands, but they do not have people with the ability to make money like we do in the U.S. Either way, they account for 18 million people on a planet with 8 billion further proving my point when I said vast majority of the world.

Unemployment rate in your example earlier (Greece) is like 8-9%. More than double that of the U.S. I don't see that being called out though.
