Poverty for a single individual in the U.S. is not 12k. It's just shy of $16K ($15,960 to be exact). If you're going to use these in your argument at least be close. Also, Greece is 6500 not 4k for a single individual.
Income is higher in the U.S. plus career opportunities are FAR better than Greece and it's not even remotely close lmao.
Nice argument though. Everything I stated is factual. The poorest in the U.S. are better off than the vast majority of the world. Period.
Not to mention the poorest in the U.S. get an absurd amount of aid from the government. Healthcare, food, housing, etc.
Im not arguing life isnt better in the usa or western society. My point is your argument bout being richer just means your better off over a generalized set of the world population is dumb and doesnt make sense. Obviously people want to move from their 3rd world countries where life is trash to develope nations because life is significantly better.
People in the Nederlands make significantly more on average than people in the US, in terms of average income and poverty line. Does that mean life is better there than USA?
Very subsidized healthcare
Great career opportunities and earning potential
Free education
Easy travel to rest of world
Government aide
