Dual sword and single sword whirlwind in diablo 2 classic (non lod) do the same hits or having two weapons duplicates hits?

I tryed with two single hand swords and later with one of them (one hand, not dual hand), and I feel the hits and the killing speed is exactly the same.

Any help with this please?

Pretty sure ww is fixed at 4 frames in classic. So you would hit with one weapon, then 4 frames later hit with the other.

Classic WW is max frames for any weapon

So, having two one hand weapons will do double damage that having one one hand weapon with a shield?

No, two weapons will do the same as one. So use a 2 handed weapon.

do AR affects classic whirlwind? the more AR the more hits you do?

Yes ar matters

Your best bet is a two-handed weapon with big Damage Big AR and base Leach

Some people also value base cold damage but it depends on you if you're trying to hork or not

and IAS? if IAS doesn't affect it, then sigon glooves combo is useless

boots + helm for big AR and 10% life leech

is not better to use angelic combo + another boots and helmet?
