Warlock is gonna be a strong contender. I’m definitely not putting nova in there in hardcore personally. But I’m sure others will disagree on that sentiment.

i think every char had its downside...
nova dosnt have the survivability
java dosnt have porting speed
mosaic gives me eye damage
pally needs to long to cast
and with dudu and necro u have to boot up ur monsters

Of course others will. WSK is the one thing that nova doesn't do very well. Especially on HC.

To answer OPs question, lite sorc is the best. Blizzard if on a budget.

Java or mosaic is the best for real. Not sure about warlock

Yes java teleports slow but if you need to never die then you're only losing 5-10 seconds per game. You make it back in the throne room, and especially if you're killing baal

Light sorc is way faster but you have to play carefully. Java is virtually unkillable

Sorc is fastest and dying is a non-issue depending on gear level unless you play into terrible TZ'd versions.

If you want 100% safe, cannot die even if player has no hands, then no build is going to have that and also be fast.

Blizzard sorc, she instantly melts the waves. Baal is also a nonissue with ice blast. Her gear allows her on top to be super tanky and have shitton of mf at the same time.

if you count killing baal too java is the fastest and safest (we're not counting mosaic anymore)
