noone here is actually offering that much which supports my argument that people here think it's not worth that much.
but this also means that even if you are the high bidder here you probably won't get the item unless you pay the absurb bin that nobody else is offering (here).

it pretty much comes down to what is the "real" value of that jewel.
because jsp and the other site (according to that sales list if it is accurate and not fake) seem to have a VERY different opinion about it and that is my main issue.

offer and pay what you think something is worth, if the seller doesn't want to accept they wont. *shrug*

ya most jspers is known to lowball, which is nothing new.

I just gave you the cost to get a unid ancients jewel, which is around 500 fgs, probability to get 10/10 is 1/36, so 500*36=18,000 fgs, expected value. However low rolls have resell value, example if it's 7/7/x it'll still sell for like 500-600 so a 10/10 should be lower than 18k fgs. How much lower is the question, I think if unid ancients jewel = 500 then a 10/10 roll = 8000 is pretty natural

thunder also would be more valuable than say poison, so that's another aspect as well

this is true for runewords pricing, giving simple example for hoto

pre-rotw hoto rune costs around 15 fg per roll, and it takes around 10 rolls to roll a 40 res, and 40 res hoto costs around 150 fgs give or take. That's the right math

i know the statue cost is quite at the moment.
but you can somewhat target farm the light one (it's either light or magic) and light right now isn't even in the highest demand because everyone is playing warlock.
and funnily enough those jewels that are used by that class sell for way less here on the site.
also i would have no issue if the jewel was actually worth 8k or 10k fg IF people here actually offering that much.
but they are not. they are offering 4k at max and that's my problem.

the market here and the market in the other place seem to be completely different assuming the markets are real in the first place.

It doesn't matter what the actual value is. could be 2k, 4k, 8k, 12k, doesn't matter as long as people actually offer that much.
The sole problem I have is that the public offers here do not reflect that supposed value.
There is a massive discrepency which lets me question what the real value is.

most people don't post offers publicly, to prevent snipers. I just checked the other site under recent trades, quite a few were sold for 1x 32020 in the past couple of days

could've easily been any of these sellers you saw here and accepted a 32020 instead of low fgs offers of 3000 or 4000

yes i know those sales are there on that site.
i'm questioning the legimity of those sales and whether they are even real.
i've seen the exact same jewel being listed there by 3 different sellers at the exact same time.
i'm suspecting they are fake-selling them to each other on that site to create the illusion of a high price market that in reality doesn't exist because nobody here on jsp is paying anywhere close to those prices.

sure but wouldn't you expenct the fg smount of the seller to go up after they claim the item to be sold
usually it doens't or at least no by as much as they claim the item to be sold for
