Did I understand correctly that you can get your d2r account / characters to rotw?

Anything to consider?
Character and items just transfer over, or?
Did read something about losing shared stash tabs?

you dont lose shared they just dont convert so empty them on a mule then convert mule

Its the exact same concept as converting classic into lod. You can bring all your items to the next expansion, but not back.

shared stash on expac stays there, rotw gets a new shared stash

main thing is you can't revert the change once you convert - so whether ROTW becomes the goto place for things like PVP remains tbd long term.

also if you play pub games....likely nothing but warlocks
