If i do Respec and i wear a Weapon with Bind Demon, do i still loss my bound Demon or do i keep it?

I just respecced yesterday and, as expected, I lost my demon. I didn't think about what you wrote though, need to test this on my low lvl warlock.

I tried it, lvl 42 warlock on nightmare. The demon instantly died when respeccing at Akara.
I bought a dagger with +3 to bind demon and I even was careful enough to equip gear that kept up the dexterity requirements even after respec.
