I don’t believe you. Every Hc char dies eventually. It’s all about pushing that death as far away as possible. This is known.

Especially with your perspective - death is inevitable. How can you survive vs conv souls without stacked res my guy?

People who play hc for a long time usually can’t go back to SC pvm unless there are irl restraints. There’s just no stakes in it.

I’m just saying HC needs a place here to discuss. Saying things like that in a Hc forum would have you seen as not understanding Hc.

The arguments validity is entirely based on "what are you trying to accomplish". If pure survivability is the goal - sure, have at it with stacked res and absorb. Near invincibility is a valid path. Where it both loses its weight and falls apart is if the goal is clear speed, and what min/max playstyle you seek.

HC fosters survivability above all - obviously.

MF will sacrifice survivability for "loot chance percentage"

DPS focused builds want optimal speed and damage to melt mobs in specific areas and routes.

Essentially you've got the same problem that any car enthusiast has "I want a cheap, fast and reliable car"
Reality is, the balance of the game is that you can never pick more than two

Paladins as an example;
Cheap and Reliable? Smiter
Fast and Reliable? Foh
Cheap and Fast? Tele Hdin

But you can cheese any of those builds into a "pick two" category.

There is only one single cheap, fast and reliable build in the game;
Vita Tals FB Sorc period
(Last sentence is rage bait obv. Or is it....?)

so essentially you're saying you want the steps made towards that build added? I 100% agree a good build guide should have that, but the goal is the good gear

I'm running up'd Buriza mirror blades build with a Tal helm and cleglaw gloves and that's pretty much all you need if you are ok at staying out of the way of elemental casts. You can Max blood oath also to make up for a lot of resistances.

if you r reach , Foh+ hammerdin hybrid is cheap fast and reliable
