We've had some real, truthful fun
We've shared a portion of ourselves
Anything that was said in our small circle will stay in that circle
And I refuse to name anyone for what was said or done.
No matter if we see ourselves as individuals, or as a group
This is larger than us
We are not 8
We are a whole community.
Some would say that one of our 8 legs was broken.
When you break a leg...
You don't ever wish to get it removed, no matter how it can hurt on the moment
You take care of it
You get it healed until you can get back up and start walking again.
Sadly, our broken leg decided to remove itself
in silence
in distance
like men like me and you tend up to do way too often.
I'm not talking to an individual here
but to a community
and this goes beyond a forum
beyond a game.
We are one.
Let's take care of each other.
Let a person be silent if he must
but don't let him drown in his own silence.
Let a person be distant if he must
but don't let him vanish, out of his own existence.

That said
We had agreed to a common pool of all profit made from our weekend, in groups or on our own.
To be shared at an honest 1/8th no matter how we could contribute to this common effort.
As a token of my friendship, I sent not only all my profits so far, but literally all I had, to an individual that I judged was the appropriate team captain, for his efforts to contribute to our common pool, for his fairness, knowing he will redistribute this extra among all our teammates.
Again, no need to name anyone.

As a dad, as a lover, as a teacher, as a fellow stranger you may one day meet due to our common passion...
It's been years since I didn't try to make profit from my findings.
