what is a valuable enough combination of int and mana for the lower tiers? Or does the base make it useless? If this was a dagger or a staff, would it be useful?

you'd probably need overspawn to make t2's usable. theoretically a double overspawn t1 lightning with 10 str and 10 dex with 2 crit would be really solid but that chances of that are just nope.

int + max mana is really good, it's "usable" on axes but not particularly highly demanded.
If it was 190-200 mana i think you'd get some interest but again only 20-50 fg or so. if it was t3 with 10 int and 280 mana then you'd be talking a few hundred.

As it is, seeing mana is the biggest problem on axe caster at low levels, a 290+ mana t3 axe which is very common is preferred over this.

Thanks, yeah now that I took a look at the starting stats it doesn't even make sense to cast with axe for any class.. so for staff/dagger or robe what combination of int and mana would be worth lets say at least 100fg at tier 3,4,5?

Szerintem on a Tier III item with 15 Int + 150+ Mana worth 100+ fg if the stats appear on a dagger or staff, maybe on axe too.

On higher Tiers hard to tell, but at Tier IV at least 15 Int and 300 Mana. Tier V should be at least 15 Int and 400 Mana for that.

Paladin casting is ok, but casting on other chars is mostly just for fun, if you have very high prof, or only have casting gear.

Agree with above. Mana can generally be lower on staff and sometimes dagger and still be worth a bit, but axes, swords or clubs basically have to be high mana (ideally near the cap for that tier).
