Fair enough. If you play hardcore you probably should go 75% and more defensive stats.

Buuuut you can also run fortitude weapon with Storm shield and get 125%fcr

Forti 25fcr
Stormshield
2/20 amu
2/20 circlet
Mage/to 20
2x Ring with 10fcr
Arach/gheed belt 20

Forti weapon actualy gives awesome defensive stats for a weapon.
30 all res, big extra life and Even defense….

So maybe a 125fcr forti/stormshield may still have good defensive stats if you can get the gg circlets and amus.

Would still Go for Coa etc and 75% when playing hardcore.

But forti in Eth thundermaul actualy gives realy good defensive stats while rocking big base damage and fcr.

Would probably be my Go to weapon in a 75% hardcore build, since it gives all Res, life defense and fcr, making you only needing 50 more fcr from the Rest of your gear

But I‘m no hardcore guy, so feel free to educate me

Yeah forti would certainly do the job but I wanted max dmg out of my wep and botd is more plus without dual leach on the rings that dual leach on botd is perfect

Also decent 2/20 circlet pretty hard to come by atm

Edit: also once you use LOH with the 350% to demons combined with the 250% undead on botd you wont want to go back

I definitely want 125 FCR, so yea I considered fortitude. I think getting a good 20fcr circlet isn't easy. And not sure about using a shield other than phoenix honestly if you want a good amount of damage.

Maybe I'd change my mind if can afford a great circlet, amulet, and 20/5 small charms, but until then, I think my build is a good balance.

Really can anyone tell me the difference in damage between using Obsession/Phoenix vs. Fortitude/Mephistos book or Spirit monarch??

because besides damage which should be enough regardless, obsession/phoenix over fort/mephistos has more FCR, more FHR, more resists, more +all skills...

really?? I cant understand why leveling up echostrike gives bonus to ar then.. no sense at all

+50-70% Bonus to Attack Rating
+140-170% Enhanced Defense
-10-20% to Enemy Magic Resistance
+10-25% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items

With an Open socket for res/ed jewel or new ancient jewel.

2 skills 115ed% and -20% magic res actualy gives pretty good damage and the 30fcr gives much more options on your gear than phoenix. Put an 40% ed jewel and you can reach 155% ed.

If it Works Like that Phoenix doesn‘t Even give THAT much more damage than the tome. Since you can get fana, might, conc aura etc all at once isn‘t there some kind of dimishing returns at some point with ed?

On the tome you still get 150+ ed% with a 40ed/smth jewel but also 2 skills (wich is great) 30 fcr and up to -20 enemy magic res and also 30%fhr

Since you can get a lot of ed% anyway with pride/might merc, possible fana on demon etc…the damage on the tome may not be that much lower than Phoenix damage while also giving that juicy 30 fcr

Phoenix still gives more pure damage though

yea I just watched this video too. And I agree, he concludes with fortitude still being best overall and to puts Arioc's needle as the Ubers build, because he cares about things other than damage after all! But Fort only has 25%fcr and 30 resists. I commented on the video he needs to take a closer look at Obsession. He considers Mang Song's but Obsession is a better balanced weapon...
