Spend some time testing this on stream the other day.

Results:
You have to create your own runewords to get completion.
You have to be in the game when the item drops.
You and all players still have to be in a game to get completion upon identifying the item(s)
You can still bring the item(s) to a new game and identify with the same players (Not character based, but account based)

So you cannot trade your way to completion, and you cannot join a game where the item has already dropped.

There should be some kind of completion reward. Make you glow like that pala set or something

Grail should be only if you get the item, not if some random in your pub mf find griffons. Change my mind.

I agree it should at least be found when you are in the same area.

Ehh I think the likelihood of this happening for most folks is pretty damn rare to the point where it doesn’t really matter in actuality.

Well the thing is people will do 8-man split MFing to complete this.

I kept some unid items in stash, I think both personal and shared. I ID’d them the next day, they did not give chronicles to the finder or any alt character. So there might be some kind of expiry on the items too. Basically ID the item right away is the rule.
