Check the chat history, never once did I say or suggest that. I just agreed with the philosophy of someone else. My suggestion would be for greenland to get those resources somehow, someway, with efficiency. My answer? Figure it out, not my problem.

It's a free market economy.
If american companies wants to go there and explore and open mines i'm sure they would be allowed, and ofc so would Danish and other euorpean companies. Why aren't they doing that then? It's because the business case doesn't add up.

That's not true. You pay to maintain the status quo, as I said it is a welfare state. You do not invest meaningfully into development. Fishing makes up 90% of their exports and it's nowhere near enough to sustain them, they need you to fund all of their public services. If they had money to start mining they quickly would not need you.

Obviously you have good reasons to not invest in them, but you shouldn't act so self-righteous about it.

The powers behind the government facades are interested in making Greenland into a techno state regardless of the owner. The mineral resources hype is a distraction in the current time frame, but is important later.

Greenland is appealing to the 1% elite class as it boasts an environment with massive and passive 'clean energy'. Low local population and regulation that would push back. Recently big power initiatives completed with more in the works. Odd, given the population dynamics there.

In short. Greenland is where 1% Elite Overlords want to build their AI datacenters. Cooled by glacial melt. Outside of the jurisdiction of hippie environmentalists. Done under the guise of 'clean technology'.

US don't care about holding the title. They just want forever * rights so our 1% can share in it.

Yea joe biden was a god damn mess but you perfectly illustrate the problem in america. You literally have the choice been a douche and a turd sandwhich. You cannot win and instead of making sure your elected officials are held to higher standards you resort to just making sure the "left" or the "right" is worse than your current option. It's pathetic for a world leading nation.

In George Orwell's "1984," the concept of the Two Minutes Hate is a daily ritual where citizens are forced to express hatred towards Emmanuel Goldstein, the Party's primary enemy. This ritual is part of the government's effort to maintain control over its citizens and keep them in line with its goals. During the Two Minutes Hate, citizens are encouraged to express their hate as vigorously and strongly as possible, which is meant to be a rallying cry for the people to fight against the enemies of the Party and to remain loyal to the government. The intensity of the Two Minutes Hate illustrates the Party's ability to elicit extreme emotional responses from citizens, ensuring conformity and suppressing dissent.
