Oh, net, i think they were pointing a worm fact out to me. Yet, I think a worm is mostly made of "back" and whatever we may call its underside which may be all "back". Sea worms have teeth!

Ah. You're right. I didn't read the context. Either way though, they do have a "back" in a way, as described by Google (and your Google summary).

In the post before your last post, I said they do have a back and that Google explained it. Google is a website where you can discover new things, you may wanna try it out. "Worms do not have a backbone (they are invertebrates), but they do have a distinct "back" (dorsal side) and "belly" (ventral side), as well as a front (anterior) and back (posterior) end. Their bodies are segmented tubes with a dark-colored dorsal surface and a lighter, flatter ventral surface."

Invertebrates are animals that neither develop nor retain a vertebral column (commonly known as a spine or backbone), which evolved from the notochord

you can be an invertebrate and still have a back. :bonk:

Maybe back end. Or a top and bottom. But not a back in the traditional sense

Fish swim in their own waste?

Depends on if it's a freshwater fish or a saltwater fish.

Freshwater fish are always absorbing water from their surroundings, because their cells and blood are saltier than water. So they don't really need to actively drink it.

Saltwater bony fish (sharks are different) are always drinking water, because their bodies are less salty than the water around them. so water constantly leaves their bodies and they have to drink more to replace it (plus excrete a lot of extra salt).

So literally the answer is yes and all the time?
