sure the dmg is lower than something like eDeath decap, but those +4 skills give some 600 bonus base dmg to the skill (which is more than the 75% weapon dmg you get from death decap), also more off-weapon ed% from mastery and consume, more magic dmg from hex:bane, more dmg redirected to demons

basically more of everything compared to any other options out there
can also simply put a Lo rune in there

It's a great option and utilizes the jewel without damage bug

Death is fine but if you can pretty much get 100% DS easily with this weapon it will probably beat it DPS wise

I think the weapon damage double dips off weapon ED

Wouldnt a two-handed Death decapitator be solid? Easily 800+ dmg and hitting 100% DS doesnt seem far off. If crushing works, i do not know.

Blizz will supposedly patch the 2h thing that you cannot have a shield a 2hander. A book + 2h or 1h + shield. In that case, we'll end up with 450ed 2os eth LoLo ettin axe + phoenix monarch setups. Capping DS is super easy on Wario, mastery + highlord.
