Glad you asked. Its simple we find a cliff or a tall building and push you from the top. If gravity isn't real you will not be affected, if it is well...

I brought up gravity precisely because you cannot see it or touch it. Yet it is there.
We can prove it through empirical methods and falsefiable models. It is a force that can be observed, measured and even replicated artificially in relation to physical objects. Anyone can experience it, consistently no matter when or where they are born. It is universal. It is not reliant on some book or oral reminder from 2000 years ago.

Unlike the bible if you remove all the religious literature and people stop talking about it, Christianity will cease to exist. It only survives because humans keep spreading it. Gravity will be still be here

Thats why thousands of religions and gods keep dying because people forget about them. They are not universal thats how imaginary things work they are only in your head because someone else instructed you to accept them on faith alone.

That example is just me falling. That isn't physical proof that a unseen force is pulling me down.

I need an id, a receipt, and something physical I can hold in my hand. Otherwise gravity is fake and doesn't exist.

Either put up or pour yourself another glass of grape kool-aid.

Gravity is just a made up word someone came up with after making up a random formula. Doesn't exist.

The laws are immaterial concepts in our head that we assign to the actual physical/material phenomenon based on our observation to help us identify them.

I wouldn't use the term "believe in" since it implies I just accept something without proof which is what faith is. I would use terms like know or have understanding.
In your loaded question you misidentified science and critical thinking as some kind of god worship. It isn't you do not worship science you simply use it like a tool those tools (scientific theories) change and get constantly updated. You are not stuck with bronze age ideas you grow and adapt. There is no punishment of everlasting torture and there are no fake promises of virgins waiting for you when you die. There is simply that which works and that which doesn't work.

Stop drinking the kool-aid and come join proof based thinkers we wont sell you magical stories. There is no hopium in our world we don't waste our energy on things that cannot be proven or disproven. We focus on the things that can.

How do you know that the chair you are sitting on won't suddenly collapse on you? Just because it worked the last 1,000 times doesn't necessarily mean it won't happen this time.

Would you sit on the edge of the table with confidence it won't topple over? You have no idea of knowing unless you try. Yet if it does topple over you won't enjoy the outcome.

I tell you why. It's because of Faith. You put your Faith into something that it will do the thing it's intended to do. You can have all the faith in the world but that table may still topple. It's about what you put your Faith in. If I tell you something that happened with me yesterday or 10 years ago, you don't have any way to verify that. There is a degree of faith you have that what I am saying is true.

I have Faith that Luke's account based on eye witnesses is true as he went out and did all the research and investigations. Here we can simply read his findings. That is Faith.

What do you put your Faith in when you want to be somewhere in 10 Years time? You can't see it now but your Faith will keep you going.

Well the laws like conservation of mass and energy are an observable phenomenon that happens consistently like gravity or the sun rising and setting. Thats how they originated for us, we can see that things dont vanish into thin air they merely rearrange themselves to become new things, beyond that no one knows. Until someone can show that matter can appear from a vacuum and dissappear the laws remain.

You assume that law of conservation had an origin which is the antithesis of the law itself.

You begin your argument with an assumption that the universe had a beginning and yet it came from some kind of being who was there before nothing.

Well, modern science rejects both the laws of conservation of mass and of energy, these are only generalities and do not always hold true--so perhaps poor examples.

The "scientific" explanation for the origins of the universe rely on one initial act of magic--for something(in fact, everything) to have exploded out of nothing, not even space, and for no reason. It's not a more satisfying or rational explanation.

Edit: lol also saw that you said gravity is a real force. This is also incorrect, at least according to modern science. Everything you believe is Newtonian... Scientists haven't believed this stuff for a hundred years.

Correction modern science doesn't reject both laws it sees mass as interchangeable with energy (e=mc²) but still holds true to the idea that it doesn't vanish into complete nothing. The conservation of energy including (mass-energy) is the accurate and complete law of modern physics.

Scientific explanation for the creation of the universe are called theories there are numerous and are only held by those scientists who began their hypothesis with "there was nothing to begin with". These are non binding explanations and certainly are not representative of the entire scientific community.

humans for some inexplicable reason have always challenged God. most my life i was indifferent to it all.
even so the idea of challenging God seemed foolish?
if God is real its a really dumb thing to do. which would make one a crazy person?
if he is not real then your talking smack to a shadow?? which would make one a crazy person?

the greatest known challenge to God, the tower of babble. antitheists are not really anything new under the sun

Ecclesiastes 1:9-10
King James Version
9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

I don't expect my chairs to last forever they have an expiry date like milk in the fridge, except it is much longer and harder to tell. I do put a certain amount of trust into everyday mundane things because they have proven themselves to be reliable and consistent over many times. Magic has never been proven not even once since the beginning of time.

I can test my chair for structural integrity before I sit on it, I can't test god before I believe in him.
If I believe in something that isn't there without proof that is called delusion. I dont know about you but I have too much respect for my intelligence to entertain magical explanations as truths.

No. The conservation of energy only truly applies to closed systems--the universe is an open system. The universe is expanding, and therefore lacks time-symmetry which allows for energy decrease. According to quantum mechanics energy fluctuations are possible at the smallest of scales also.

I was talking about the big bang, what I said is the basic claim of everyone who believes that it is the origin.

Which publication are you reading from? As far as I know conservation of energy applies to both open and closed systems. For example boiling pot of water (open system) loses energy as steam and heat, but that energy is transferred to the environment. It doesn't dissappear it just moves like a fart in the wind giving the appearance it has vanished. The total amount of energy (system + surroundings) remains constant.
