Lets not.

This is about proof not blind belief aka faith. Only fools believe in everything they are told. Wise people require proof and are ready to change their mind based on the compelling evidence.
You don't question you assume something is true and work backwards finding reasons for it to be true. This is confirmation bias of a cult follower not an independent thinker.

Convenient lies require faith. Truth will never ask you to be accepted on faith alone. It is difficult and requires constant proof to be presented. It is objective and universal, truth transcends all language time and space. Gravity doesnt need to be taught in a book from 2000 years ago. You don't need to convert people and entice them with promises of immortality or virgins. Thats what 1000's of religions try to do

Religion is fake

All the more reason to talk about Faith because you have shown your lack of understanding. We are given multiple examples of people who acted in faith and how it paid off. Let's sing about it as well!

Hebrews 11:1-8 ESV

By Faith
1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

4 By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God. 11 By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.

When I was active duty, met a dude who put "JEDI" as his religious preference on his dog tags. Reminds me a lot of this movie lol

btw you never replied to this

what is the origin of the law of conservation of mass and energy? where is this law stored? is it made of matter?

Well the laws like conservation of mass and energy are an observable phenomenon that happens consistently like gravity or the sun rising and setting. Thats how they originated for us, we can see that things dont vanish into thin air they merely rearrange themselves to become new things, beyond that no one knows. Until someone can show that matter can appear from a vacuum and dissappear the laws remain.

You assume that law of conservation had an origin which is the antithesis of the law itself.

You begin your argument with an assumption that the universe had a beginning and yet it came from some kind of being who was there before nothing.

the law of conservation itself is eternal and not made of matter

does that apply to other laws, like the law of identity or the law of non contradiction?

how many eternal uncreated immaterial things do you believe in and how is this not polytheism?

It is obviously a made up story from collections of writings with many unknown unverified authors. Translated and curated by several councils of men who decided what is to be included or excluded. Mainly so it's more palatable for an average pleb in order to control them.

If you step back and look at it as a whole it is nothing more then a bedtime story for adults to behave in a certain manner. It is one of many (thousands) of religions. Just about everyone on the planet had mythological story of some kind that they shared around the campfire. Everyone thinks theirs is the best and the one true religion, just like hardcore sports fans cheer for their home team.
As an outsider who isn't affiliated with any of these archaic dogmas it is obvious that none of them are the best or real. Observing here people in pard you will notice there is a distinct tribal conflict between left vs right.

The purpose of this thread is to explore the contradictions, make light of the magical story and to hopefully bring awareness to the religious fans who seem to be under the spell that their invisible dad is real.

Lets begin!

The laws are immaterial concepts in our head that we assign to the actual physical/material phenomenon based on our observation to help us identify them.

I wouldn't use the term "believe in" since it implies I just accept something without proof which is what faith is. I would use terms like know or have understanding.
In your loaded question you misidentified science and critical thinking as some kind of god worship. It isn't you do not worship science you simply use it like a tool those tools (scientific theories) change and get constantly updated. You are not stuck with bronze age ideas you grow and adapt. There is no punishment of everlasting torture and there are no fake promises of virgins waiting for you when you die. There is simply that which works and that which doesn't work.

Stop drinking the kool-aid and come join proof based thinkers we wont sell you magical stories. There is no hopium in our world we don't waste our energy on things that cannot be proven or disproven. We focus on the things that can.

the laws aren't just concepts in our head, the laws exist outside of whether we exist to think about them of course. but you didn't answer my question, you said the laws are eternal and immaterial, what makes it different than a version of a non-personal God? and how many eternal and immaterial different laws do you believe exist independently? how is this not polytheism to assume they are eternal and immaterial and there are possibly thousands of them?

your worldview cannot purely be material, so something must account for these immaterial eternal laws or maybe the laws of logic, physics, chemistry, axioms of math, etc are your uncreated Gods that created the universe?

to believe something and to know something is the difference of "justified true belief"(JTB), since you are assuming these laws are eternal and uncreated and do not have an origin in something else it would be a presuppositional belief or the grounding of your worldview, similar to the presuppostional belief of God

How do you physically prove gravity?

Glad you asked. Its simple we find a cliff or a tall building and push you from the top. If gravity isn't real you will not be affected, if it is well...

I brought up gravity precisely because you cannot see it or touch it. Yet it is there.
We can prove it through empirical methods and falsefiable models. It is a force that can be observed, measured and even replicated artificially in relation to physical objects. Anyone can experience it, consistently no matter when or where they are born. It is universal. It is not reliant on some book or oral reminder from 2000 years ago.

Unlike the bible if you remove all the religious literature and people stop talking about it, Christianity will cease to exist. It only survives because humans keep spreading it. Gravity will be still be here

Thats why thousands of religions and gods keep dying because people forget about them. They are not universal thats how imaginary things work they are only in your head because someone else instructed you to accept them on faith alone.
