You thought the heralds or new sunders were the biggest change. Nope!
You can craft magic items ( not reroll) with an affix for example -3% to physical damage. Magical items are largely uninteresting, except you can also do that with skillers!

Example:
Breaching Grand Charn
1 x Northern Worldstone Shard
1 x Any magical grand charm
1x perfect amethyst
1 x pul rune

Result : up to 2x magical affixes and -1 to -3% physical resistance!
In theory, you could get max damage/ar/ -3% physical resist grand charm.

It gets better, you can apply the recipe to small charms as well. They geant -1% of chosen resistance. Yeah, those recipes exist for every single element, including magic. You can make a skiller GC with +1 java/45hp/-3% lightning resist. Five of then would be a free griffon.

Hmm...don't quite understand that file...for charms, is it prefix + the crafted affix only or prefix + suffix + crafted affix?

And even if it could ...to keep rolling with a mid rune such as Mal compared to 3 pgems...

Prefix is fixed from recipe, seems like you roll a random suffix (or none)

So now warlock grand charms are the most expensive, followed by hammerdin, and necro, because of the mal cost for the %magic

20/5 with -1% enemy magic is going to be the goated small charm
3/20/20 with -1% enemy physical is going to be through the roof, with other mods on it.

This looks lul.

EDIT:
ARE WE GOING TO BE ABLE TO REROLL THE SUFFIXES WITH THE SAME RECIPE TO TRY AGAIN?

Sure would be crappy to have a 45 lifer roll 1% instead of 3% with no chance to reroll it.

There is no indication that it's 3 affixes thus far. We're looking at -enemy res + suffix I think. I guess the reason it's a fixed prefix is specifically to prevent double stacking offensive power/skill tree roll.

The link that OP posted just shows a set prefix, with a -% to resist.

It doesnt show any suffix.

What is the prefix "671, 674, 684, 699, 700 etc...." What are those?

Needs clarification.

so you can have 37x -1% physical resist / +20 life scs instead of 37x 3/20/20

This gets really fucking demented with casters because it means every char now has an impetus to stack -resists for their own elemental and swap in a gear slot with massive +resists for the opponents element. We'll have people swapping in 4 copies of a 3 socket / 20 fcr circlet with 3x resist runes in it

If you look at the different recipes it's pretty clear 'prefix 699' is 1-3% phys roll, etc.

Nah people just won’t duel because nothing can beat warlocks and it’ll be boring to wvw only

Is that prefix added, or does it replace the initial one?
So any random 20 life small charm can benefit from this?
