It's good in theory, but makes it so much easier for bots = Nope from me :P

Do you honestly believe someone would go through the effort of making a bot just to actively play this game? And even if they did, do you really think they'd use it in group content with other players watching?

If anything, a bot would be used solo - and most likely for transmuting, not for killing mobs. So I'm pretty confident mapping 1-9 to the grid wouldn't suddenly create a botting wave. ;)

Also, let's be real - the game itself is simple enough that if someone really wanted to bot it, they wouldn't need numpad shortcuts to do so.

So why should we limit potential QoL features just because of a hypothetical scenario?

If we dislike bots that much, are we really going to let the mere idea of them stop us from improving the game?
Do we want to act like bots already won - even when they're not even a real issue?

Well tell that to all the ppl who has been banned.

Your reason to why you want this in the first place is only to save some clicks on the mouse?
If that's the only reason u have it's not enough. I dont see how this is a QoL thing for actual players.

You summed it up pretty well urself, game is simple enough, this is really not needed.

You're acting very engaged for "asking for a friend" :P

Haha, fair enough :D

I honestly can't explain it better than this - it's a she, and her hands just hurt from clicking. That's it.

As for being "engaged" - I pressed G... actually I changed it to F

I recently came back to do a bit of clicking here and somehow my friend decided to give it a try too. That was the feedback I got, so I thought sure, why not suggest it.

Does it work? Sometimes. Some suggestions have been implemented in the past.
Did I really expect this one to be? Not really :P

If this was a Thing, a "Back to town" hotkey would be need too. Else you allways Reposition to the Mouse in steamy situations or to leave the cata. (Though i would live this as a hotkey).

For a group run and implementing the "Datis Rule" this would make group runs smoother.

Not very many players know the "Datis Rule" in a full group climb. It is simple.

Column & Rows including front to back and vice versa.

Three players are designated roles for attacking Rows:
... 789
... 456
... 123

Two players are designated roles for attacking Columns starting from that back:
... 963
... 852

Now of course, they meet together or could attack the same monster (that is being two players)

This actually makes sense, it also applies with those players using Heavy weapons with slower attack speed but double damage.

Due to substance for botting, I am going to Null vote, since it can help phone users MAYBE... I don't use a phone to play, thumbs and all that guff.

Yes they would. And they have already. No need to make it easier for them
