Just saw this a minute ago

Second D2 expansion in 2026?

Had no idea this was coming. Warlock class, apparently playable as of today. I don't even have D2R installed right now. Might have to try it at some point.

Seems like the new class, new runewords (likely meta breaking), loot filter (hopefully granular enough to specify specifics like magic monarchs and rares with good bases), selectable terror acts instead of terror zones, gem stacking, likely rune stacking

Oh I thought it was going to just be a patch / free update. I see it's 31 bucks. That's fine I just don't know if I'm going to honestly play D2 again. I more or less just wanted to check it out.

Seems too light to be worth paying for

Blizzard cashing in on nostalgia right now with also releasing TBC era WoW.

It also seems like the expansion was made and designed by a Chinese studio.

Western studios are essentially dead - they have no creative vision to create anything new, and no competence to even create a functional game.

While not political, I found this article / case very interesting. Does a boyfriend, friend or group member who has more experience and perhaps planned more of the tip constitute as a guide and therefore holds responsibility for those with less experience. I certainly hope not.

I myself do what could be considered guiding, but just for family and friends via all kinds of Arctic adventures that could easily result in death. But I assume everyone knows the risk and has assumed that risk themselves by joining me and therefore have accepted that they are responsible for themselves.

I will watch to see how this one pans out, not that precedent there would impact us, but interesting none the less.

This story was unsettling as she seemed rather easy to save when she was abandoned, curious on the investigation.

He had a moral obligation that he failed to meet in a few regards. As for the guide role, unless she was a paying customer or totally inexperienced (she had decent amount), I wouldn't consider him a guide in their roles during the context of this trip.

As for risks, this one seems straight forward, but people don't understand risks in general. Have skippered on sailboats and mind blowing the lack of common sense people have got. Or how easily they will trust an absolute stranger with their life.
