Just some questions I thought about while building/gearing my pvp zon and wanted JSPers insight on them.

1. Why do people 40/15 their Swordback? I don’t see people putting 40/15’s in SS (40/-15 .. yes) so why Swordback? I put a 30ED/rep4/all res9 jewel in mine (still looking for a stacker). Little less ED.. more rep and more res.

2. What stats do you prioritize on 2/30/2 circs (2 zon/30 frw/2os). I currently have one with str/all res and one with life/all res. I’m starting to think that I shouldn’t have bought the str/all res one and should have bought (try) one with dex/str. One vs non melee and one for melee.

Just some thoughts I had while gathering gear and guides.

IAS from jewels will depend on the rest of your setup to hit 9fpa throw (assuming jav/bow).

eg. Titan's will need 89 IAS to hit 9fpa

I assumed it was gear based. Essentially without ias from javs you can’t hit jav side FPA without a 40/15. This means you technically can’t wear Swordback at all for ZvZ .. Swordback with ber = no 9fpa .. Swordback with 40/15 no max Dr jav side?

Exactly why good javs get to be expensive

Jab needs 117ias to reach next bp.
Throw when you slowed by arach needs 125ias.

Telebowa can have only 65ias on gear. 15ias jool + 10/20ias on the erep javs.

Using 40/15ias on swordback can allow for dracs when ow is wanted vs es soso or in some cases mb trapper

the ed/ias jewel would pair well with eth up'd titans, where as if you hit breakpoint with an erep w/ IAS on them, then you can opt for different jewels such as 9 dex/30Res and so on. just keep breakpoints in mind when changing things around for matchups, and you might find yourself with multiples of the same items ( say a few swordbacks with varying jewels and runes ).
