Between Jan and June 2025, ICE arrested over 109,000 people. July-Dec figures are not public but in Dec I understand there were 54,000 arrests made in that month alone. 2026 is going to easily top the 2025 figures with 109,000 arrests made in Jan 2026 alone. As noted earlier in the thread the idea is to hoover up year on year, exponentially increasing the number of detainees. If your wondering where all these people are being held, the government has set up concentration camps throughout the US. Obviously that sounds terrible, but concentration camps are pretty common nowadays and should not be confused with the death camps in Germany WW2. The concentration camps in the US are similar to those used a few years ago in the US when they were separating children from their immigrant parents and putting them into various schemes throughout the US (never to be seen by their parents again, and a fact that the media quietly dropped). Its not quiet gitmo (the US does not torture in the US, they torture in mexico) but these are people (apparently not citizens) of the US that have lived there for decades with alot of them law abiding, contributing to society.
There are wiki pages for individual incidents, like the young teacher that went to visit canada with her 6 year old child, she was, along with her 6 year old, detained by ICE on her return to the US and her child - a citizen of the US, was detained and caged, and her family / friends were not allowed to take him home. Or the case of the Turkish PHD student who wrote a paper about Gaza and she was Gestapo'd by Marko Rubio. She was moved from detention to detention until she had a literal mental breakdown. Or the American Irish businessman who was caged in Texas (he lives in Boston?) and faces the prospect of being killed in a US concentration camp.
