I want to build a dream pally to help push me to 99... I know hammerdin is probably most optimal for the push but dream has a cool play style for me.

I am wondering what is the ultimate gear and build to tackle tz 8p leveling.

Get max fire/light res from charms if needed, then use max/ar/life charms

What items would max rolls be the most impact in your opinion and would i run the dual sunders?

what for helm and armor for merc?

Due to having lvl 25 conv and reaper merc, sunders aren’t really necessary. They can help offensively, but also make you more fragile and take inventory space.

For merc there’s many helm/armor options.
I added a link to show you how I build mine.
This is giving him CbF, 75ias bp, high mobility.
This is the best way to allow him to proc a lot of decrep.
+6 evade makes him very tanky as he moves between each target.
I like that kind of setup on a tesladin who tends to reposition him less often with tele than other builds.

What is your skill setup... I don't want to assume, for mine (LoD) I use Zeal, base smite, base charge (before I get enigma/dream x2 & Griefpb)

What do you use on switch ... once I have gear I use Griefpb with the Life Tap Shield runeword and life tap wand in my inventory (held in Cube).

I know Gores is for CB mostly, however, is it still decent to use War Travs for the extra Added Damage?

Guessing Pally Res shields for Runewords, Sacred Targe still the Go-To shield to use (Vortex shields seem too rare)

Also, after my questions, does this still apply with D2 Resurrected?

More of an Andys / Fort + Reapers merc myself, haven't seen mods for Hustle or other D2r runewords... oh, can not see any Maxroll links, hence questions.

On swap I just use CTA
No need lifetap, you can get some pretty good leech by optimizing your phys dmg by using grief, maxed zeal/sacrifice, might reaper, high crit from grief/hl/gores, extra dmg from LoH

You benefit a lot more from gores than wartravs.

ST 45@ is optimal

Ahh, I never max Sacrifice, I get Holy Shield up for max Block... think it is like 17 base points (depending on +X Skill gear & because 136 Dexterity already... think 156 Dex is optimal for MB with 17 Base Holy Shield for Max Block).

The Life Tap is for ubers + DClone, the Conviction maxed is to over ride UMpehistos Conviction Aura (to cancel)

I pretty much have the same gear setup, found that I don't need CtA on switch nor CB / OW from Gores, 1 psn charm is (SC) is sufficient to slow down their Regeneration, charge (1 base point for stun effect) ... only issue I really have is Uber Lillith if she is in an open area with Archers... otherwise simple telestomp and Life Tap from switch.

I don't have a Blizz account even though I have original CDs for D2 & LoD, can not play D2r with a 1gb PC, waiting on friend to build me a new PC. Once I get this, then I can test the flavor of D2r for myself, I still think PoE is the D2 LoD 2.5 version...
