Endgame feels like:
Solo dungeon → Hope for a big drop → Get a big drop → Sell that drop → Buy another item that fits your build.
In the end, everyone kind of plays their own adventure.
Maybe playing SSF could actually be fun. Even so, chaining solo dungeons over and over can… get boring pretty fast.
Finding an active guild might be a good idea—to avoid doing the same thing all day and to discuss different builds.
The dev is currently working on a trading system. He was totally against trading for… well, forever.
He eventually changed his mind, which is a good thing for some people… less so for others. Whatever.
Now for the honest take:
Trading in Dreadmyst is ugly, and it’s a BIG negative point.
Why?
1. There aren’t that many players, realistically.
So there aren’t many sellers either → very high prices.
Expect 10–15 million for a BiS BiS item.
But hey… maybe that adds some depth?
2. Searching for an item is an absolute pain with the current system.
Either you snipe items in the trading channel,
or you search on
https://dreadmarket.net/ (which is nothing more than a scrape of the trading channel data).
That’s it.
