the logical entailment of buddhism is morality is impossible. if the 'Self' is an illusion (anatta), then there is no agent to make a moral choice. you can't have 'goodness' if there is no 'person' to be good.

Islam is as fake as every other religion. But I wouldnt call it fake, its probably the wrong word, its more like folklore maybe.

People believe all sorts of things. Religion is copium for a lot of people, thats why they hold onto it.
Especially if people are weak, it can help with a lot of things. Can help people deal with grief, can help people deal with the fear of death or non-existence. Can take responsability off people sometimes and so on.

Not believing something doesnt mean you believe a certain other thing you know?
The origin of the Universe (if there even is one) remains a mystery - which isnt a surprise since we only operate from a small dot in it. Not believing in religion doesn not automatically mean I believe the universe is a certain way. I am not in a position to make any claim about that.

But your response certainly suggests that you seem to know there is something that isnt purely physical. Could you elaborate?
