Eagles beat Tom Brady, in his prime.
And you're telling me the Jags were a bigger threat?
Also, Jags had a nice defense no doubt. They also never went against a dominant offensive line like the Eagles had that season (best in the league by a mile). That eagles o-line was all-time great...hence why Foles could do what he did.
Brady was 40 years old in that Superb Owl... He was past his prime.
And yes, my Jags would have gave you guys far more fits than the Pats did in that Superb Owl. It wouldn't have been even close brother, we would have dog walked you guys around the park and back.
We also had an elite Secondary (and LBs Posluszny, Myles Jack and Telvin Smith) to go along with our DL that year. Ramsey, Bouye, Colvin, Gipson and Church in the Secondary. Our Defense was one of the best in NFL History that year. Foles wasn't going to beat them.
