the biggest drag of d2 was accounts going into expired all the time burned me out.
my last comp craped out and by the time i got back 90 % of it was gone.
i had enough anyway

my friend was supposed to keep my account alive while i was gone but didnt he also didnt keep his own account alive. had some perm 08s 45 sets 1x20-5 set. i did sell my 32020 set before i left so i had like 10k fg when i came back.

i didnt have any high value fancy stuff. just sold basic gear organs torches annies.
when i first started the game if one toon in account wasnt expired they left the whole account alone. then they just up n changed that and a lot of people including me lost a lot of stuff
lol lillith was probably the only thing in gaming that stayed scary
anyway the temporal nature of d2 accounts always in a state of degrade makes a pretty good representation of the nature of the construct we live in. which makes it good as a representation of scripture

I did services to gain a lot of the stuff I had. every ladder I was doing grushes all day I did g Uber leveling a ton too. my hdin eventually hit 99. I honestly never found any super good stuff myself without trading I would have had nothing. Now days I just chill wealth isn't important to me anymore

What realm do you play on? I play d2 lod east sc ladder

EHCL ... I am mostly playing in-between work, home life, and/or when listening to a podcast where there are no visuals. It is still fun as the hardcore factor makes it edgy. I've died a few times since ladder reset. But, I do not mind redoing my character. My therapist is worried about me. Hahaha

You have a therapist? usually that means your unstable.
