Today I learned that when they do an autopsy, they open up the skull, pull the brain out and weigh it and then slice it open and check the wrinkles for anything that could be off. They also check all the organs inside the torso and they put the brain in a bag with the rest of the organs and sew them all up together inside the torso

Apparently the brain is like jello so if they try to put the brain back in the skull and seal it up, it will leak through the eyes, nose and ears. That's why they put the brain in with the rest of the organs. Very interesting

I always wanted to be a mortician when I was younger or do clean ups for crime scenes. That kind of stuff is just interesting to me
