yes there are players who hit 99 on classic with out act 5 exploit
a few names to mention are (these are USEAST by the way)
sharp_arrows
Tower_twoII
and delfa who hit it multiple times on a sorceress named shes_good II III IIII IV etc and maybe even on a fallz character but i am not sure about that one
there are others also but i atleaste know delfa solo'd it, im not sure about sharp and tower, i think tower may have soloed it? i think sharp/sean may have had help from multiple people running on his acc considering the race, but honestly im not sure but i do know these players and a few others did it with out cheating or using act5 method, as i was in pretty much in all or a majority of the games with them, or id see their runs running legit
I wanna stress (rerspectfully) that D2R is an entirely different ball game compared to legacy.
Loading times and improved cheat protection makes it a lot more demanding.
That's why no1 went higher than 97 in 1 season.
Iirc there has been a Korean?! that managed to get 3 billion xp total. That's lvl 97 + 38mil. Obv those millions of xp don't come easy on 97.
I'm generally curious if some1 has managed to hit lvl 99 on nl.
Is this a thing?
On sc eu I have never seen or heard from any1 above 97.
