so i guess i had very specific ingame settings before to run d2r

but ever since i reinstalled windows and therefore also d2r, all ingame settings have been reset.

it always used to run perfectly fine but i noticed when pvping my graphics card is having a rough time

ram is 32 gb rn and roughly 40% is used, cpu seems fine aswell

what settings are best to fix performance issues?

I would go for ultra performance settings + prioritize gaming mode.
There are plenty of guides on youtube you can check that may also apply to D2r specifically.
Looks like the pc specs are solid so you should just play with some general settings imho

Don't want to state the obvious but have you checked drivers? Maybe a connectivity issue? Got enough space on your SSD or HDD?

Previous windows update made me lagg in games while using browser, after I updated drivers it got fixed.

dont forget uninstall 24h2 and 25h2

i did update the drivers yea, theyre up to date

somehow even when im playing on low settings im just getting fps drops in duel games, which i didnt have before i reinstalled my entire pc

funny enough i upgraded from 16 gb to 32 gb and this is the first time im experiencing fps drops

i also installed both windows and d2r on my ssd, and it has 86 gb space left

Make sure your RAM is placed in slots 1 & 3 or 2 & 4. Not sure if there is a correlation there or not.

Was just going to say, make sure ram is seated correctly in the right slots and that it matches. That's where I would start since it's all you've really done since your reset, could try removing the new stick or sticks as well and see if it improves.

hmm i only have 2 slots and im using 16 gb in each atm

its also recognized in windows just fine and my ram seems to just be at like 40% usage

it's mostly my graphics card that suddenly goes over the top, it didnt use to do that

almost like theres something wrong in the settings, but i alrdy adjusted all ingame video settings and updated my graphics drivers

Pull the one memory card that you had added and see if you get the same performance that you had before.
