I guess you have no sense of how nature's food chain works and how much damage feral cats can do. Stay in lala land clearly you haven't done any conservation or farm work or know what it takes to put food on the table. Wild feral cats are no different than a rat or a cayote you shoot them end of story

You don't even have a car Thomas go back to sleep.

Got a few barn cats. Keeps the mice and rats away but still find the occasional snake. Most are copperheads.

Well once a species has been artificially introduced, if they thrive or survive then let it be, even if they change the landscape in a negative way, that's nature and evolution at work

Humans are fucking up the environment way more, should we cull them?

You just seem like you enjoy killing animals tbh, if I was you I would just ignore that problem as its not a big deal and won't affect me, and I would prefer to avoid killing animals if I can, you're clearly one of those weirdos who needs to kill stuff

Fuck birds and small critters

I'd take a wild cat any day of the week

Pretty messed up you could happily kill a cat, unless you've put it to work for you

Lol clueless. Pests can drastically change the impact of the land creating a chain reaction which can make land barren and dry, raise the prices of your food considerably, kill off thousands of species. They do affect farmers which part of the. "They kill farm animals" did you not understand? Thats people's livelihoods on the line and they will protect their investments. We only cull the troublesome feral variety. We dont shoot neighbor's cats for fun so relax your vegan cheeks.

Time to wake up!

you think you're going to prevent all that if you kill cats? Thanks for saving the world!

they could be domesticated too btw, but I imagine that'd require too much time/money and patience, probably better just to kill them right?

but I'm the clueless one, what do I know

Thats what pests do they can annihilate the ecosystem. Thats why we have things like yellowstone wolf projects to get rid of Bambi and introduce beavers back into the wild.

Domesticating feral cats is a costly and time consuming idea. These armchair solutions are impractical and come from individuals who never stepped foot outside their air conditioned office. Most farmers dont have time and patience to adopt 20 feral cats because it would hurt the feelings of some angry vegan karen.

Cats are not endangered species if you want to adopt one good for you but don't push your emotional agenda onto other people. Its not about killing cats for the sake of killing its about protecting your investments and to protect other beautiful exotic birds and critters from getting demolished.
