are you blind? this goes back to something i said a few months ago. i stated a fact, you challenged it, and then you said the same thing. its as if anything i say must be wrong. I didnt tell anyone that you asked me to post an update but yes you did ask.

if you read the start of my post you will see i did in fact mention Ran Gvili. seriously what is wrong with you.

I am not complaining about the fact that you update, I challenge the content of the “update”

In my first line i said: On 25 January 2026, Israel launched a large-scale operation in Gaza to recover the body of Ran Gvili, an Israeli police officer killed during the 7 October 2023 attacks.
In your first line you said: Congrats on ignoring the real milestone: IDF recovered Ran Gvili’s remains Jan 25.

You can argue around this as much as you want, go right ahead.

There is no definitive proof of a deliberate IDF “stand-down” on the morning of October 7th. A soldier testified in the Knesset (parliament) that routine border patrols in a specific sector were canceled that morning, but the issue has not been transparently addressed and has not been resolved through an independent investigation. What is confirmed is that Israeli intelligence and the IDF failed to anticipate and prevent the Hamas attack. Internal IDF and Shin Bet probes acknowledge serious intelligence and preparedness failures. Warning signs and unusual Hamas activity were detected beforehand but were misinterpreted and did not trigger a heightened alert.

Israel has conducted multiple internal investigations, but given the circumstances, they amount to a case of “we investigated ourselves and found nothing wrong.” Intelligence assessments discounted Hamas as a credible threat, reflecting overconfidence and a misjudgment of Hamas’s capabilities.

Some say it was allowed to happen. Some also say that aliens landed on earth and the pyramids are landing platforms, and the earth is flat and we never landed on the moon. It is not credible that Israel allowed it to happen, what is credible is that they underestimated Hamas capabilities. At the same time, it all came at a very convenient moment for Benjamin Netanyahu.

RTE (thats Ireland, not Russia, state broadcaster): US Agency for International Development staffers in early 2024 drafted a warning to senior officials in Joe Biden's administration: Northern Gaza had turned into an "apocalyptic wasteland" with dire shortages of food and medical aid. Three months after the 7 October 2023 Hamas attacks and Israel's incursion into Gaza, the internal message laid out in gruesome detail scenes observed by United Nations staff who visited the area on a two-part humanitarian fact-finding mission in January and February. The staff reported seeing a human femur and other bones on the roads, dead bodies abandoned in cars and "catastrophic human needs, particularly for food and safe drinking water". But the US ambassador to Jerusalem, Jack Lew, and his deputy, Stephanie Hallett, blocked the cable from wider distribution within the United States government because they believed it lacked balance.

everything the US has been doing for the last few years lacks balance, why stop now.

I will hold my breath for a response, right? right?

Israel accepts health authorities’ Gaza death toll is broadly accurate, saying 70,000 have died, Israeli military’s U-turn in accepting official figures comes after years of attacking data as ‘Hamas propaganda’
A senior security official briefed Israeli journalists, saying about 70,000 Palestinians had been killed by Israeli attacks on the territory since October 2023, excluding those missing.

(Meanwhile Ukraine is still reporting that 45,000 Ukrainians have died and 1,000,000 Russians have died. Dear oh Dear, there are a few ppl in Ukraine with long noses.
