plus minus all time leaderboard - Giannis 8th, Embiid 10th, Kawhi 11th, KG 22nd, Paul Pierce 44th
there's 0 argument that Embiid is above KG, Kawhi, Giannis, and Pierce
You're listing all time accumulated stats. KG played in over 1,400+ career games. Embiid has 478 career games. Of course his total career number with defensive win shares and VORP are going to better. Irrelevant totals you're listing. Hell, even Giannis has like twice as many games played. This wasn't a conversation of who has had a better career...
Btw...break VORP and Offensive win shares down to a per game basis and Embiid destroys KG. It's not even remotely close. The only thing they're comparable in per game would be defensive win shares.
Not to mention Embiid's 27.57 career PPG average is 4th all-time in NBA history. His points per minute is #1 all-time. His 28.02 career PER ranks #2 all-time. None of these things KG can even sniff.
Yes, KG had a longer and more successful career (so far). Embiid had a higher peak though in terms of dominance. KG played a lot longer, he was more durable, and he has a ring. But he was not the
talent that Embiiid and that was the point of this convo initially from Doc's comment.
