76ers:

2-1 vs Knicks (Embiid didn't play in the 1 loss)
2-2 vs Raptors (Embiid and PG didn't play in either loss)
2-1 vs Celtics (PG didn't play in the 1 loss)
0-2 vs Pistons (both games from November and Embiid and PG missed both)

Soooo yeah. At full strength and with Embiid having played himself into peak shape performing the way he is now...they can beat anyone in the East, or at least be a threat, obviously. The big IF as always will be what do they look like health wise come playoff time.

One thing is for sure, when at full strength this team has some serious firepower. Embiid looking closer to prime form, PG playing well and most importantly playing elite defense, Oubre back healthy, shit even McCain getting it done dropping 17 tonight. Just need Grimes back.

That’s also under the circumstances that the 76ers have had a schedule with near the least b2bs in the league so far. Can’t cherry pick teams or take every other game off in the playoffs. PG13 and Embiid will need to play every night and they won’t be able to.

The 76ers have had 9 back to back games so far this season, which is the second MOST in the league. The most is 10.

They also have the most b2b games in the league this season scheduled with 16.

It changed recently then because I looked it up earlier in the season when they were near the bottom. Anyway my main point stands that PG13 and Embiid can’t cherry pick their games in the playoffs like they do in the regular season

How does it make you feel hearing Doc say this the other day?

Then followed it up with: "Unfortunately for me, I never had him healthy once in the playoffs.”

Seems like a comment made to deflect accountability as an underachieving coach. If you’re talking about complete basketball players at their peak, Kawhi would be better than both Embiid and Giannis. He also coached KG who has an argument over Embiid and Giannis. Celtics went from 18th to 1st in defensive rating after getting KG. KG top 5 in all time VORP, top 10 in win shares, and top 10 in box plus minus all time.
