I would never put myself in that position. I'm a law abiding, every-day contributor to society. I have a wife, a child, I pay taxes, a mortgage, vehicle payments, groceries, utilities, etc. I really don't have the time or the money to fk around and CREATE more problems for myself. If they want to ship out illegals with prior convictions (usually dangerous charges) then who Am I and who would I be, to stop them? I believe anyone should be able to come to the US, as long as they're contributing to society and not leaching off social programs. Am I really being called a nazi (not by you but others in this post) for my views? How am I wrong morally? Please enlighten me.

Your logic is basically: “It won’t happen to me because I’m responsible, so I’m fine with it happening to them.” That’s comfort, not morality.

Due process isn’t a reward for “good taxpayers.” It’s a restraint on government power. If the state can skip hearings, smear people, and dodge independent review because someone’s labeled “illegal” or “criminal,” then rights become permissions - and the target list always expands.

You can support enforcement and still demand: lawful process, transparent proof, independent investigation, and prosecution if the shooting was unlawful. That’s not extreme - that’s the minimum for a functioning society.

I've already stated that I thought it was wrong how that dude got mag-dumped. I've also already stated that there needs to be reform in Law Enforcement agencies. I do not, however, believe any civilian should try to impede an ON-GOING operation. These people are harassing federal agents and amplifying the situation 100-fold. AND FOR WHAT? To virtue-signal for a foreign person who would literally never reciprocate any of your energy?? What am I missing dude? I'm listening...

Not what I said.

I’m not claiming ‘bad guys today = everyone tomorrow.’ I’m saying if you let the government break the rules for one group, then you’ve taught them they can break the rules. And once that’s ‘okay,’ they’ll use the same shortcuts again - sometimes on the wrong person, or on a bigger group.

Rules like due process exist because the government makes mistakes and can abuse power. If there’s no outside review, it’s basically ‘we investigated ourselves and found nothing wrong.’
