Simulation theory would be purely an atheist theory since the concept of sin or virtue is nonexistent

On the scientific front it fails the falsifiability criterion with flying colours

it would 100% be nihilistic, everything would be pointless and unknowable. it's very cringe when pop-sci people promote it, pseduo-scientific and weak philosophically

o i think i understand what your saying now?
it would be the material world thats a simulation (not us).
possibly a brain in a vat idea. receiving sensory input.
or as one person put it once. we are spiritual beings having a psychical/material experience.

i remember simulation theory was introduced by 'atheists. resulting from perplexity of the "double split light experiment". since then i think the 'problems have been resolved.

what was funny (i cant find a reference) is some 'atheists were having a meeting about simulation theory one atheist now believing the construct/universe is a simulation said "we i guess that disproves God" lol and the rest of them turned to look at the dude. if the place is a simulation that would very much prove a creator.

any way? if it is a simulation and we are plugged into it. and if there is judgement you will be judged by what actions you do while your here whether you believe its a simulation or not.

no I don't mean that. simulation theory means we and our universe are not real, everything is a simulation by someone outside of the simulation (the programmer)

since we are not real and just code in a computer or NPCs in a story we cannot actually make decisions, everything is a determined outcome

the brain in the vat idea also makes the possibility of knowledge impossible, it's seperate but related to the simulation theory in a way

" is a heresy, this is similar to gnosticism that the church had to defeat. this is very wrong, the body, soul, and spirit are all real and all good. we are not spirits simply experiencing a material existence

Simulation or not, we are inside a perfect mathematical construct as light crystallized in the shadow of the true reality. It’s a paradox, real and unreal. Guess they called it maya back in the day. Thought forms, a dream inside the mind of something greater than us and beyond our comprehension. Completely ineffable, and to ponder the ineffability only drives the human mind to the edge of madness and blindedness
